Gloucester 10k

Sunday 28 June 2026 // 08:30 // Gloucester Park // 10k

The original and best Gloucester 10k is back for 2026! Support local charities and enjoy a fun, flat 10k chip-timed race, taking runners on a sightseeing tour of Gloucester, including the cathedral, quays, canal and docks.

This is an event that, year after year, involves a thousand runners running ten thousand metres and raising thousands (tens of thousands over the years) for worthy local charities.

Get involved by signing up and taking part, or take part by signing up as a volunteer (just get in touch!). Everyone is welcome because this is a real community event.

Extras

  • Awards: Medal, t-shirt and winners’ prizes in various categories.
  • Corporate Challenge: Details Here.
  • Changing: No
  • Toilets: Yes
  • Bag storage: Yes, supervised
  • Parking: Several nearby public car parks
  • Notes: The aim of the route is to showcase Gloucester so it passes the Cathedral, through the Docks and Gloucester Quays and runs along the canal towpath. Given the intention of taking in the sites, it does twist in the odd place, but is still a fast course. The event is very much a community event re-established by Davies and Partners Solicitors, following the decision of commercial organisers not to continue with it at that time. All monies raised by this event will be given to Gloucester charities.
